About the Evening
The Tri-University Distinguished Guest Speaker Evening is the first of its kind and aims to bring together researchers and postgraduate students from the three South Australian Universities. It's a night to promote networking amongst peers and importantly, is dedicated to showcasing career opportunities and to discuss the current system of career structure and pathways for your life after a PhD.
The theme is "The Health Sciences – Future Careers in Health and Research", and we are privileged to be hosting world-class researchers who will offer their advice and experiences.
The set up
We have a range of speakers who will share their advice and experiences through several formats, including a unique and exciting keynote address by TBD. Importantly, a key feature of the event is the Panel Discussion hosted by Dr Paul Willis, Director of RiAus and expert in science communication. Through a 'Q&A 'style format, our Panel of successful researchers will draw upon their experiences to answer any questions directed from the audience (you!).
